Today my blog is about RIHANNA!! Her new cd just came out yesterday and it is so amazing! I love Rihanna so I guess I am kind of bias to be making this statement. Her sound has gone back to the Good Girl Gone Bad cd which I liked a lot better than her last cd. I liked Rude Boy and Russian Roulette but I was not a fan of the other songs. I like Rihanna because she has a good beat with her songs where she kind of raps, but she also actually sings. I am not a huge rap fan right now, although my friend is trying to change that, but I like that Rihanna has a variety in her songs. Of course as I am writing this I am listening to her new cd. I am currently listening to California King Bed and it is such a good ballad kind of song. Then there is the song Raining Men which features Nicki Minaj so you can kind of imagine what that song is like, because Nicki Minaj is a crazy female rapper. Fun facts: Did you know Rihanna’s real name is Robyn and her middle name is Rihanna? So glad she goes by her middle name, Robyn is not a very good celebrity name. Did you know Rihanna lived in Barbados until she was 16? I knew she was from there but I was not aware until recently that she had lived there that long. But anyhow I am just saying everyone should listen to Rihanna’s new cd called Loud, totally worth the money if you don’t steal it.
I have only heard one Rihanna song, Umbrella obviously, wasn't a fan of it until All Time Low covered it and made it a much more enjoyable song! You should check it out! And I guess since I am asking that of you I will listen to something off of Rihanna's new album..
ReplyDeleteSomething about Nicki Minaj just makes me feel so uncomfortable. I think her voice just is so...I don't know haha it sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me, though I don't deny that she is a really great rapper. It's just her voice I guess.
ReplyDeleteI have actually hear All Time Low sing Umbrella, I like Rihanna's version better, but I think it sounds really cool!
ReplyDeleteNicki Minaj just talks so fast and loud and will say anything, I didn't really like her until lately, my friends are pushing me toward rap music which I have never been a big fan of but they are making me listen to it so I am slowly starting to like it more and more.
ReplyDeleteI love Rihanna. You can definately tell she's from Barbados, she has a really thick accent. Also, Nicki can be a decent rapper but her voice is really deep and offensive sometimes. Like shes really angry all the time.
ReplyDeletePeople should buy the cd's for the artists they support the most to support them. But most people just rip them off the internet now. Glad to hear her new cd is good.

ReplyDeleteI miss when Rihanna had long long hair. I thought it was soo pretty. She should get extentions and make it brown again. She is super pretty regardless.
