IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!! WHOOOO!! Yeah, I am excited but I am only turning 19, so I mean, not a real big birthday. Nothing really happens when you turn 19, you just get a year older. For me that is okay, because I look like I am 15, MAYBE 16 at the most anyhow. So today my mom and step dad are coming to Columbus to take me out for my birthday dinner. I am planning on going to Eddie George’s because it is amazing, but also because I do not really know very many nice restaurants around Columbus so I am open to any suggestions. I am still like a little kid so I am hoping for some presents. I have at least matured to the stage of getting gifts that I need more than I want. I mean, if I could get both I would, but I am more focused on getting a winter jacket and boots if I am going to be walking a good 15 minutes to each class everyday. So tonight I am celebrating with my parents, tomorrow I think my friends are taking me out for dinner, and this weekend I am having a party at my sister’s boyfriend’s apartment with all my friends. So my birthday has been pretty good so far, everyone is spamming my facebook wall with birthday wishes. I am very thankful to have so many friends. Well I need to go study for my Psychology mid term on Wednesday because there is a lot of information to cover and not much time to study due to my birthday festivities. Bye.
Happy Birthday Laura and I hope you have a good b-day. Yea I see what you mean when you say nothing happens when you move up on age because Im 19 and lot of people say I dont look 19 I look younger. I turn 20 in December.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Must be weird to be celebrating away from home. My personal favorite is Damon's restaurant, but it certainly isn't fancy. I just like ribs!! I agree on the number. Seems like it won't really be a big deal to have a birthday again until we turn 21. After that? I don't know, I can't imagine that 29 could be all that great - or is it?
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I have that same problem. I'm 19 and everyone still thinks I'm in high school. Sometimes it's frustrating, but I guess it's nice to look young right? Who wants to look older anyways? :P
ReplyDeleteI can't help you out with restaurants up here, because I don't know much about Columbus to be honest. But I agree about those kinds of presents. I usually don't ask for things unless I need them. I think you'll definitely need some boots and a winter jacket. I always have the problem where I don't want to be cold, so I dress up in layers and I feel great on the walk to class. I finally get to my classroom and it feels like an oven in there. I hate that.
Happy Birthday! I have the opposite problem you have. I am 19 and a lot of people think i'm like 25 haha
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday! I think no matter what age you get, you still get excited for a birthday present, at least I do. I'm turning 20 in February, and to me that seems like a huge jump because I'll officially grow out of being a teen. I think turning 20 is a bigger deal than turning 18 because of this...I don't know why haha.
ReplyDeleteEveryone also thinks I'm younger than I really am. I was at the airport when I was 18 and the guy looking over my passport asked how old I was. When I told him I was 18 he said "oh...I thought you were 14." Thanks. Not.
Happy Belated birthday ha
