Well I am currently listening to screamo versions of Carol of the Bells and it is quite entertaining.  My friend Anthony is looking all these random versions on youtube.  Some people have some weird renditions of this song.  There’s violin playing, rock version, metal versions, guitar, just anything random really.  There are not many versions with people actually singing it though, which I find is odd, because I thought there were a lot of groups that did harmonizing and stuff like that with this song.
So anyhow tonight should be fun.  It is the last Friday that I will be in Columbus for a while and I will actually have freedom.  Once I get home I will be super sheltered again and I will have a curfew of 10 through the week and midnight on friday and saturday.  I am now 19 years old and have been living independently for about two months now, yet I will go back to all the rules I had when I was in high school.  This really sucks, because I know that there is no chance that they will slack off on the rules or be more lenient with the rules.  My roommates said they are going to send my parents a letter telling them they need to relax and let the me be more free...I feel as though I would get in trouble for that and I would be under house arrest even more than I already will be.  Well it is time for nap time, bye.

  2. Hey Laura try to be positive about your parents. Maybe your parents will realize how well you did having freedom up here on your own that they will give you more fredom back at home.

  3. I don't know why but for your blog if I want to make a comment it doesn't ask me to write something before I make my comment. Wow this is good!

  4. Yea, it's under the settings or something, it annoys me to have to do that when i comment so i took it off so others didn't have to worry about it.

  6. That sounds like it could be funny. Last night I listened to MIMI, from the Mupets, version of some song, and I could not stop laughing.

  7. Parents never stop being parents. I was home on leave from Iraq and my mom wanted me to call her if i wasn't coming home for the night. The fact that i was a 20 year old war veteran didn't really matter to her i guess.
